A Short History
1st Easthampstead
(St Michael’s) Scout Group was originally formed in 1910, and
although it closed for a few years during and after the 2nd World War,
it is one of the oldest Groups in Scouting. We wear lemon neckerchiefs
with a distinctive ‘Centurion’ logo on the back. This logo
links us to the nearby Roman Fort of ‘Caesars Camp’.
Group Profile
We currently
have Scouting sections covering the age range 6 to 15 with a membership
of around 75. We own our headquarters which are known as The Westwick
Hall.
We are part
of the South Berkshire District with other groups in Bracknell, Sandhurst
and Crowthorne.
We are always keen
to hear from past members - so please email us.
