Christmas saw a disaster to the scale that most of us have never witnessed
before or could never have imagined. With a death toll at well over 150,000 we are all effected in some way or another by the shear scale of the events in Asia. |

As a Group we made an appeal to our members to collect toiletries such as new toothbrushes (child and adult), tubes of toothpaste, baby soap, gentle shampoo etc which were sent to Feed the Children UK based in Wargrave. Feed the Children UK are collecting clothing, dried food and toiletries which will be shipped to Asia to help in the relief effort. Half of the world's 28 million Scouts live in the affected countries, and we think of them and know that many will be involved in the on-going recovery work. |
