Summer is over! But that will not stop us in our scouting adventures
We have had a great summer term culminating in a very successful (but very wet) summer camp for the scouts at Hesley Wood just outside Sheffield.We must pass on our thanks to all the leaders for their unstinting work in providing fresh and stimulating programmes across all the sections
Toilets
Our toilet renovation will continue this term with the upgrade to our second toilet. I expect this to happen sometime in the run up to Christmas.Windows
The Group Executive approved the removal of the velux window in the main hall which has been leaking for a very long time. After many attempts to stop the leak the only alternative was complete removal. This proved very timely as the wooden fascia was completely rotten.
Go Ape - Bracknell
The Group has recently received a very generous donation from Go Ape - Bracknell and we offer our thanks to them for this very useful contribution to Group funds.
